I just want to end this 6 year relationship, Can't do it anymore?

Hey everyone,Well I just finished arguing with my boyfriend once again,this is something that has been going on for about 5 years.I don't even know why were together. He said about a year ago we should go on a break but we kept getting back together and its been on and off since last year. I'm the very loving attached type of person esp when I love someone I'm very loyal and I have had a really nice childhood but not with my parents but wit my aunts and uncles, my parents are not supportive and very detach. I have never been close to them. I feel insecure lonely and depressed trying to put this relationship back together its exhausting, I don't think I can do it anymore I dont think he cares about me the way I care about him. What should I do, it's like i'm scared to let go or something. Any wise words will be appreciated thank you.
