Oblivion quest glitch!?

Ok, so i did the "Cure for vampirism" a LONG time ago. So when i cured his wife, and after she died, the argonian lady told me to wait so the count could have time to grieve. Okay......so i waited for like months in game time just doing side quests to pass the time. and everytime i come back, the argonian lady still just sits in that dungeon telling me the same thing. What do i do? Is there a certain time the count comes out? or is this quest forever glitched?
