Sewing clips on hair extensions?

i bought some hair extensions online, on ebay, they had very good feedback, and i buy from ebay all the time, including extensions. But anyway, i recieved them today, the hair is really nice quality, and thick like i wanted, but the hair was a really dark blonde when it's meant to be bleach blonde, the clips are silver not cream like they were supposed to be, and the clips are sewn on really really lose, and can flip over and stuff and the move around a lot, also the clips are sh*t. So i was wondering if anyone knows how i could detach the silver clips, and attach some cream colour ones on them, so they're really tight and secure?? Thanks!
