Fallout New Vegas glitched help?

i have had fallout new vegas since day 1 and the first time i played through the game with no patches at all and had 3 minor glitches,every thing worked fine.then they released dead money,which i bought,downloaded and worked for the first 2 days without the patch,all of a sudden to play dead money i need the patch or i get the same message you got about stuff not being there.i put the patch on and it didn't fix any thing,dead money doesn't work,it actually added glitches to the game.so i start a new game and about 40 hours in decide to clear the cache,i clear it and cant load any of those saves,it does exactly as your game does,the roulette wheel spins 3 times stops and i get the message that things are missing nonsense.unfortunately i had to start from the beginning because no matter what i have tried nothing works,it doesn't even show that there is an update for it even though i have taken it off.i have checked all of the cables,wires,cleaned the disc,cleaned the lens and still nothing.i have a bad feeling your going to have to start all over again.you could try checking the fallout forums but i didn't find any thing of use.yes this is the xbox 360 version of the game.unfortunately i would say,start over and get it over with,i think the anger helped kill off more things along the way this time.sorry this wasn't much help.good luck in new vegas.
