Plants vs. zombies zen garden. My plants have NO needs, and give NO coins!?

I check my garden multiple times a day (probably way, way to often). My plants are fully grown, have no needs, and no halo. I know all about the cycle of needs met=halo=money, but my plants have not been asking for anything in 3 realtime days! Is my game just glitched?
